Kevin Grundy
Chairman

Mr. Grundy brings to SiliconPipe a wealth of experience in systems development. With more than 25 years of experience in reducing complex systems into semiconductor circuits, Mr. Grundy is seasoned electronics industry executive. Mr. Grundy is also an innovator, noted not only for his many diverse patents, but also for his ability to create and manage an environment where high volume and high quality products are successfully brought to market.

He joined SiliconPipe from DirecTV broadband where he was co-founder of its predecessor (Telocity) and responsible for all engineering development and operations.

Prior to co-founding DirecTV broadband, Mr. Grundy held various engineering and managerial posts at several successful startups, most notably NeXT Computer, where he led the design efforts for three generations of innovative desktop computers. Mr. Grundy has BSEE and MSEE degrees from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Dr. Colin Mick
Dr. Mick has more than 30 years of experience as an information technologist, networking expert, software developer and technology evangelist. He brings experience in managing all phases of technology implementation including product design and planning, invention, development, testing, documentation, and post-release support. Dr. Mick brings considerable experience in organizing and managing the operations of multi-company technology initiatives and product roll-out. Dr. Mick has a BA in Anthropology and Journalism from the University of Alaska and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Communications Research from Stanford University.

John Krumme
John Krumme is a partner in the Beta Group, a consulting firm that focuses on strategic innovation for venture capital and technology companies. He joined the Beta Group in 1986, where he served as President and later Chairman. Mr. Krumme founded Metcal, BetaPhase, Inc., NDC/Cordes and Alchemia. Prior to those ventures, Mr. Krumme served as a development engineer for Raychem, Hewlett-Packard, and General Electric Medical. Mr. Krumme has an MS degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and holds more than 40 patents.

Dan Andersen - Public Relations
Mr. Andersen is a marketing communications professional with more than 33 years of experience with blue chip technology organizations. Mr. Andersen has conceived, developed and implemented numerous projects involving advertising, direct mail, trade shows, field communications, inquiry fulfillment, newsletters, press release and relations, publicity, sales meetings, sales and technical literature, and training and sales-promotion materials. For the past 19 years Mr. Andersen has operated Andersen and Associates.

Mr. Andersen has served as director of corporate communications with NEC. Prior to NEC, he worked nine years as marketing communications manager for Raytheon Semiconductor and before that he held marketing communications positions at the W.J. Purdy Company, Sierra Electronics, and GTE Lenkurt.

Mr. Andersen holds a BS degree in business management from Golden Gate University, an AA in mathematics from the College of San Mateo, and teaching certificate from the University of California. He wrote Tiger Advertising, a how-to book for business-to-business advertising.

Dr. Eric Bogatin
Dr. Bogatin is a world renowned signal integrity expert and author of three books and numerous articles on the subject. He is a consultant and technical advisor to SiliconPipe. Mr. Bogatin received his BS in Physics from MIT and his MS and PhD in Physics from the University of Arizona in Tucson in 1980. He worked for many years at AT&T Bell Labs, Raychem Corp, Sun Microsystems and Ansoft. Recently, he merged his consulting company, Bogatin Enterprises with GigaTest Labs, where he now serves as CTO.
